Entrepreneurs in developing countries present business plans to investors

The Business in Development Network (www.bidnetwork.org) reduces poverty in developing countries by stimulating the local private sector of SME. The BiD Network is an online platform for SME entrepreneurs in Developing Countries. It links entrepreneurs with people that want to share knowledge and expertise and it links entrepreneurs with investors. The BiD Challenge is the online business plan competition organised at the BiD Network. Every entrepreneur with a business plan aiming for setting-up or expanding a business in a developing country can participate.

The Government sees Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as the business contribution to our sustainable development goals. Essentially it is about how business takes account of its economic, social and environmental impacts in the way it operates maximising the benefits and minimising the downsides.
