In 2007 SANEC developed a new service as well, particularly catered to assist members with all aspects of doing business internationally. This resulted in the “Intercultural Business Development Programme”, which is designed by and for SANEC in cooperation with JPCoaching International. It focuses on increasing the influence and effectiveness of international professionals working in the diverse cultures of the Netherlands and South Africa.

The programme emphasises the principle that achieving sustainable success in trade relations with South Africa requires a visionary and knowledge based approach as opposed to ‘quick fix’ solutions. A broad-based focus ensures that multiple topics are covered. Personal business cases feature in the modules. The participants are given the opportunity to take a helicopter view of situations in which they are involved and to identify what would be more effective business practice.

The Intercultural Business Development Programme is exclusively available to members. In the future the programme will also be available to members in South Africa. For more information about this service please contact your local SANEC office.
