Green fund – request for proposal
Proposals for stimulating green economic policy will be considered for a grant from the South African Green Fund. This information is interesting for Dutch organizations that have a South African business partner.
Request via South African business partner
The South African Ministry of Environment (DEA) and the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) point out that interested parties are requested to present a proposal for a Research- and Development grant. This proposal needs to contribute to the transformation towards a greener economy. Dutch organizations could present a proposal via their South African business partners.
Criteria
The proposals should stimulate a greener South African economy by contributing to:
1. sector specific policy and/or stimulating the transformation to a greener economy. The focus is on:
- greener cities and municipalities
- carbon free economy and environment
- management of natural resources
2. innovative technologies, financial products, instruments and or proposals for legislation and planning.
