Revision of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Codes
On 5 October 2012 the revised codes of good practice are published for public comment in the Government Gazette. Until 4 December 2012 stakeholders can submit comments to the DTI on these revised codes.
Since the published Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Codes in 2007, the government now has introduced a number of key changes and attempts to address certain inconsistencies and interpretive difficulties encountered under the original codes.
