Networking

Throughout the year SANEC facilitates activities and events both in South Africa and the Netherlands. We provide members with an opportunity to meet, network, exchange ideas and experiences. Members are introduced to each other and these contacts are essential to develop new, mutually beneficial business relationships. We enable you to materialize your newly gained relationships and ideas into profitable market strategies.

Furthermore SANEC promotes activities and cultural events organised by others, which are of interest to members. Members do not only meet with existing contacts during these events, but more importantly gain access to a new network and thus meeting potential clients or partners.

 

Members in Business Cocktails
Every quarter SANEC members get together at the ´Members in Business Cocktail´. The cocktails are held at various exciting venues in cooperation with one of SANEC’s partners. We facilitate relevant business topics for example legislation, policy development, economic trends and current political and social subjects. During these cocktails, SANEC staff will be present to discuss your business needs and questions. A great opportunity for members to meet, share match and learn.

Seminars & Workshops
SANEC facilitates various seminars and workshops on ‘hot’ topics with different partners. Sharing information, debating and networking are key during these events. If you would like to have a role in a specific seminar or do you want SANEC to partner with you to set up a seminar? Not seldom are seminars held in conjunction with sector specific trade missions and/or specific governmental bodies to highlight and keep up with the latest trends and developments. Roundtable Conversation
Regularly, SANEC hosts a Roundtable Conversation between SANEC members and relevant partners. The get-together happens at the same time in both South Africa and the Netherlands. We are connected via videoconference to maximize the benefits. During a topic-specific Roundtable Conversation, participants can freely exchange knowledge and information. The SANEC Roundtable is about sharing and gaining knowledge, getting to know new business partners and in addition exploring new business opportunities.

Business Breakfasts, Luncheon & Dinner
Why not discuss business opportunities and in the meantime enjoy a good dinner, lunch or breakfast? SANEC regularly facilitates intimate gatherings where cuisine and business are united. We bring parties from the private and the public sector together to discuss a topic, sector or trend. An interesting table host can be the secret ingredient to a successful and inspiring morning, afternoon or evening.

SADC Ambassadors lunch
The annual SADC Ambassadors Lunch is the perfect opportunity to personally meet and interact with the various Ambassadors and Economic Councillors from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) based in Brussels, The Hague or Pertoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town. Naturally the Ambassadors Lunch is attended by high profile corporates, entrepreneurs and public organisations.
