Tanzania enjoys a great amount of natural resources, which offers tremendous investment opportunities for Dutch companies. These include 44 million hectares of arable land, natural resources and the country is placed in an excellent geographical location. Therefore, Tanzania makes a great place for investing:

• The country is emerging as the most cost-effective port and gateway for trade into Eastern, Southern and Central Africa

• There are lucrative investment opportunities in infrastructure, privatisation and value-adding facilities

• Tanzania offers simplified procedures for investment, streamlined through the country's legislation.

• Tanzania has a Business-Friendly Macro-Economic stability with low inflation (6.4%) as of June 2014, stable exchange rates supported by unrestricted and unconditional transferability of profits, loan payments, royalties, fees and charges.
