Dear SANEC member,
SANEC invites you to its 1st Knowledge Tour of 2015 and networking cocktail. This event takes place on the Thursday 5th of February at the headquarters of Berenschot in Utrecht. The recent joint venture of consultancy firm Berenschot and accounting firm Mazars in South Africa is the inspiration of the Knowledge Tour. The tour eleborates on; “Why a Joint Venture?”, “Which obstacles do I need to take care off?", “How can your business benefit from a joint venture in Southern Africa?"".
-Fons de Zeeuw and Johan Linssen, responsible for the Mazar-Berenschot South Africa office, will present the road to a successful joint venture.
-Frank Rekers, founder of Talking Stick Instituut and director of the 4Human Groep, will give insight on his experiences of starting a joint venture in South Africa and will compare European communication styles with the South-African style.
-Alette Vonk, coach in Intercultural management, will present on cultural differences which can form challenges in joint ventures, especially with partners from different continents.
-Mobin Naser, business developer at Ebury New York demonstrates a case studyin which a joint venture gives their currency trade a more stable and predictable form through hedging.
-Enrique Diaz-Alvarez, chief risk officer at Ebury in New York will talk on current market trends specifically with regards to the South African Rand.
The SANEC Knowledge Tour will be followed by a networking cocktail. A great opportunity to network, meet new members and expand your business contacts.
