Meet Tanzanian Ministers & discuss investment opportunities in Tanzania
On behalf of the Tanzania Embassy in Brussels, SANEC invites you to the Tanzania Investment Forum, where a Tanzanian delegation consisting of top-level government officials will be present to discuss the investment climate and sector specific business opportunities of Tanzania.
The Tanzania Investment Forum is an initiative of the Embassy of Tanzania in Brussels and will be organized by SANEC. Shell International is a partner of this event which will be hosted at PUM. The main focus of the Forum is to strengthen economic and investment relations between the Netherlands and Tanzania. Honorary guests from Tanzania include:
- Minister of Trade & Industry
- Sector Ministers, including Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Energy
- Tanzania Private Sector Foundation
- Tanzania Investment Centre
- Business delegation
According to the Tanzania Investment Centre, Tanzania is regarded as one of the countries with the highest growth potential in Africa with enormous potential and an investment destination. It is one of the most promising emerging markets in the region, offering a unique combination of developed economic infrastructure and a vibrant emerging market economy. Tanzania offers the right platform for business trying to develop or expand opportunities for the wider region.

- 10:00 hrs: Opening remarks by a top-level government representative of the United Republic of Tanzania, Mr. Bernard Wientjes (President of the Confederation of Industry and Employers), and Mr. Frans Engering (Chairman SANEC);
- 10:45 hrs: Investment opportunities in Tanzania, presented by the Tanzania Investment Centre;
- 11:30 hrs: Private sector developments and international partnerships in Tanzania, presented by the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation;
- 12:30 hrs: Networking & matchmaking lunch supported by Rabobank International;
- 13:30 hrs: Welcome by PUM;
- 14:00 hrs: Private sector experiences: Panel discussion & best practices by three Dutch companies in Tanzania;
- 15:00 hrs: Closing remarks by H.E. Ambassador Kamala;
- 15:15 hrs: Networking Cocktail & Matchmaking;
- 16:00 hrs: End program.
